Choosing a hearing professional is one of the most important decisions a hearing impaired person can make. An audiologist must hold a doctoral or master's degree from a nationally accredited university and certification from the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) and/or the American Academy of Audiology (AAA). As part of their training, an audiologist must complete a minimum of clinical hours in evaluation and treating persons with hearing loss and in the selection and fitting of hearing aids. Hearing aids are only as good as the experts who fit them. Have confidence that your investment in your provider and product is protected.
